The project
The Emirates Amateur Golf League (EAGL) has been conceptualised as the world’s first ever Golf League comprising franchisee-owned teams, much like the IPL of cricket, with the objectives to:
- Provide a platform to Amateur Golfers (the largest segment in the world of golf), to play in a professional environment with LIVE broadcast, amongst other advantages.
- Create opportunities for Team Owners, Sponsors, Partners and Players for marketing, branding, networking, customer development, entertainment and public relations.
- Reinvigorate the spirit of Amateur Golf in a first-of-its-kind competitive team format.
- Promote Amateur Golf in the UAE and underline the country’s importance as a golfing destination.
REPERTOIRE took up the challenge of designing & executing a dynamic PHP coded website with many variables, thereby provisioning for updating, modifying and introducing newer sections when the tournament commences. A detailed CMS was also designed and handed over to the client.
